BehavioralHealth05The goal of Behavioral Health/Lifestyle Coaching is to empower children/adolescents and their families to effectively cope with stressors in every day life. We educate by: explaining how stressors and other obstacles in every day life can cause individuals and families to make unhealthy choices. We offer healthy alternatives and provide tools for ways to cope with the stress that may not be working for the family unit anymore. Behavioral Health counselors reach these objectives through individual, group and family meetings. Additionally, a Behavioral Health counselor will complete an assessment with each family so that our program can target the individual needs of the child/family to better support their journey to a healthy lifestyle.
